Researchers have found that the effect of cancer during childhood can have long term repercussions when it comes to marriage. Data from the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study, which involve some 10,000 child cancer survivors (now adults), found that approximately 42% were married. 7.3 % either separated or divorced and 46% never married. Survivors were also 20-25% less likely to marry compared to their non-cancer affected siblings and the general population.

leukemiaLeukemia is one of the form of cancer which is immune cells proliferate without normal regression after disease has been terminated. It has been categorized as one dangerous disease  known as blood cancer and usually caused by an uncontrolled production of blood cells.

The are two types of leukemia which is acute leukemia and chronic leukemia. Acute leukemia normally afflict children and young adults.  This type of  leukemia advances rapidly and all the white blood cells are not normal. Its proliferation of bone marrow cells inhibits bone marrow to make properly healthy cells.

The another one is types is chronic leukemia which is most common to occur in older adults but there is the possibility of it occurring in any age group. For this type is better known for the abnormal proliferation of mature white blood cells. When your body is faced with disease, white blood cells divide rapidly to quickly eliminate intruding microbes.

A part of that this disease has spread to the brain may produce central nervous system effects, such as blurred vision, headaches, weakness, seizures, balance difficulties, or vomiting. We need to know leukemia by itself does not have any specific symptoms.

Lung cancer is a respiratory disease.  Normally we relate someone who had lung cancer with cigarette or smoking habits but do you know  that  not everybody who smokes cigarettes gets lung cancer. Because of that we suppose to know the other reason  for lung cancer is nutritional deficiencies, our sedentary lifestyle,toxins in our  environment and sometimes emotional conflict.

To prevent lung cancer there are involve many activities including diet, stop smoking habit and eat more fruits and vegetables. Many people don’t know diet is one of an important measure to prevent lung cancer. Actually every food that we eat everyday is the foundation of our health. Another advise  to prevent lung cancer is by add tomato sauce in our cooking because it seem to exhibit protective properties against lung cancer, according to the latest research.

We really need to prevent ourselves from getting lung cancer. In United state, there are more than 170,000 cases being diagnosed year including man and women . Don’t put yourself one of them. Behave yourself!

As we know breast cancer is one of the disease which needs scrupulous medicinal and surgical treatment. It is important for people to recognize the symptom of breast cancer because that could let us to inform our health care provider as early as possible that there might be a trouble.

Breast cancer has been categorize to 4 number of stages by the doctors. There are various reason allowed by the stage. For example the size of the tumor whether cancer cells have extended into the close lymph glands , whether the cancer cells contain receptors for hormones or other proteins, and whether the tumour has extended to any other organ of the body. The patient must be bring to the specialist as soon as possible if we spotted in the first stages.

If we want to compare between male and female breast cancer, actually  this disease in males happens less at roughly 1/100 than that of females. However, either you’re male or female, all of us  suppose to concern about this disease.

Thousands of women have had unnecessary surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy as a result of routine breast cancer screening, doctors have warned.

For each woman whose life is saved, ten healthy ones needlessly receive mastectomies and other treatment, a study found.

Experts said the NHS should do more to warn women of the high risk of a false positive.

But cancer groups fear the news may lead to more deaths by putting women off the screenings, which are estimated to save more than 1,400 lives a year in England alone.

All women from 50 to 70 are invited for the checks every three years. Around 1.7million had them last year out of the 2.2million who were offered appointments.

But some experts say they are not sensitive enough to show which cases will lead to fatal tumours, and those that pose no threat.

More than 45,500 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year and around 12,300 die.

Twenty-three doctors, surgeons, academics and health specialists claimed yesterday: ‘There are harms associated with early detection of breast cancer by screening that are not widely acknowledged.

‘There is evidence to show that up to half of all cancers and their precursor lesions that are found by screening might not lead to any harm to the woman during her lifespan.
